Where can artificial grass be installed?

You can put artificial grass down on just about any surface, including an existing lawn, a decked patio or hard-concreted areas. Wherever you install it, the most important thing to ensure is that the sub-base has suitable drainage. If in doubt, check out our installation guide page beforehand.

Can I order any other way than online?

Yes. We can always take your order over the phone if you’d prefer to do it this way – just give us a call on 01405448002 and a member of our dedicated team will be more than happy to help. We’re available 9-5pm Monday-Friday.

Will my artificial grass always match if I buy more than once piece?

The two things to consider when buying artificial grass are the pile and colour. Before you install your artificial grass, it’s best practice to lay it out to see which way you like the pile and colour of the grass the most, then make sure you fit all your rolls laid the same way.

If you know you need more than one piece of grass that’ll need to be joined together, just tell us when you order, and we’ll do our best to try and match them by cutting them off the same roll. However, variations naturally happen during the manufacturing process so we can not guarantee they’ll always be an exact match.

Do you install artificial grass?

We Sell Artificial Grass is a supply only artificial grass service. However, our sister company Yorkshire Artificial Lawns, are the leading artificial grass landscapers in the north. Can the sun cause artificial grass to fade?

Our artificial grass ranges are all UV stabilised and are guaranteed to keep their colour for at least 3 years. In the years following this period your grass may begin to fade slightly due to sunlight exposure, but this is only very gradually over an extended period of time.

How do I install my artificial grass?

Whilst we understand laying artificial grass for the first time can be a daunting task, we believe that with some research on the key processes and following step-by-step instructions the vast majority are able to complete their first project successfully. There are a wealth of instructional videos on youtube which cater to a range of abilities, we recommend starting with our sister company – West Yorkshire Artificial Lawns – step-by-step video and building your knowledge from there. Do you charge a delivery fee?

We believe it’s important to be transparent about how your money is being spent, which is why we don’t bump up our product prices to give the illusion of ‘free shipping’. All of our domestic orders incur a delivery fee, this is to cover the cost of packing materials and shipping/transportation fees. The price charged is dependant on the products purchased, the total weight of the order and the distance it will travel to reach the delivery destination. Your package will either be delivered by DHL, or personally by our delivery drivers depending on your order specifications.

Can weeds get through the artificial grass?

Sometimes weeds and plants can poke up through the membrane under artificial grass, particularly if it’s not fitted properly. We’d recommend treating the area thoroughly with weed killer before you lay the artificial grass and then twice a year after that to keep unwanted weeds at bay.
